Pearl was saved from the slaughter pipeline February 2023

Pearl is a 8 year old Paso Fino Dapple Grey Mare .

Pearl came to us
Underweight ,
Feet a mess
Would run from you
Would pin her ears
Would move when saddling
Wouldn’t let you pick up her feet
Wouldn’t let you bridal her.

However I knew deep down in this little mares heart was a horse that once was loved, and was trained. She some how fell through the cracks into a ruff life and was thrown into an auction to basically be on a truck to get slaughtered. We took the chance on Pearl and decided to put her into some training to over come her bad habits and her fear. Just like her big dark eyes said to me; She succeeded!!

Scoot out for under you
She knows her gaits .
She is now once again a big lover
Comes when you call her
Saddles like a champ
Bridals like a champ
Feet no problem for  this mare

She rides out by herself or with a group
She doesn’t feed into other horses craziness
She is good around dogs
She has even pulled the roping dummy.

She just finished a 30 day refresher course .

Her adoption fee is higher then normal rescue fees due to the amount we rescued her for plus the training and care fees

Pearl would be a great endurance horse she will give you her all. We would put her for an intermediate to advanced rider . Beginners would have fun learning how to ride a gaited mare with a trainer.
