Too many horses are at risk of ending up in the slaughter pipeline but it doesn't have to be that way. You can be part of making a difference with us. Every time we intercept a truck full of unwanted horses from taking them to auction, that is your donation in action.

Sadly our beautiful wild horses are rounded up and the babies are separated from their herd. Sometimes we can save the adults but often we have a better chance saving the babies. We are intercepting the trucks with these orphans that would otherwise take them to auction and bring them directly to the rescue. Auctions are loud, crowded places where disease spreads quickly. Imagine young foals being there without the comfort and protection of their mothers, never having been around humans, all kinds of strange sounds, smells and animals. It is an incredibly scary experience they don't have to go through when we are able to intercept the trucks heading to auction.

With our buy out program, each month we can save horses from entering the slaughter pipeline. But that can only happen with your help. Each equine to save, get vetted and cared for such as housing , around the clock care for critical orphan foals , and every day operating expenses costs our organization approximately$950.00 each equine .
